Welcome to InScreen, a distinctive incubatee evaluation tool tailored for your incubator needs. We transform your input criteria and filters for evaluating your incubatees by statistical computation, enabling informed, data-driven decisions that enhance your chances of success.
Empower Your Incubator while making right choice

About InScreen
Incubators face challenge of balancing various objectives along with myriade of possible evaluation criteria of the incubatee. InScreen offers configurable criteria matrix.
Welcome to InScreen, where your insight meets mathematical modelling to create an objective screen for selecting incubatee. Experience a new level of proposal screening through cutting-edge selection algorithm.
Solutions
Explore our comprehensive solution designed to streamline your evaluation processes and enhance efficiency. From statistical evaluation system to automated reporting application, we have the tool to elevate your incubator to new heights.
Input Evaluation
Evaluate the candidates based on the criteria defined in step 2. The scoring can be on a sliding scale or absolute values. Our algorithm based on TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) calculates the ideal situation and then assesses the candidates based on that ideal candidate.
Compute Results
The results are tabulated automatically based on the weights defined in step 2 (further optimized by AHP algotirhm) and step 3 (using TOPSIS method). The final list also includes the flters defined in step 1 to produe final result.

Define the eligibility criteria for the candidates by specifying the maximum number of years in operation and maximum current revenue. This ensures that you only select candidates that truly require an incubator and not looking to fund their existing established business.

Configure Criteria
Step 1 : Review Criteria
Review the criteria below for suitability to your needs. The criteria has been selected based on extensive study of incubators through research literature and includes a mix business success criteria, founder's network and social goals of your incubator. These can be changed as per your needs easily.

Step 2 : Define Relative Weights
Relative Weights using Pairwise Comparisons The inscreen software uses Analytical Hierarchical process at its core and then it internally employs other algorithms to arrive at overall relative scroes for incubatees. To define relative weights, you should fil in the following matrix with pairwise comparative scores.

How do we use the "pairwise comparisons"?
We use Analytical Hierarchy Process to calculate weights for each of these criteria. This weight calculation process takes aways the confusion and complexity of defining weights by focusing on one pair at a time. AHP algorithm performs matrix calculation on them to come up with usable weights.
How are these weights used in final computation?
We apply the calculated weights to the evaluation scores for each candidate and then generate distance from ideal candidate using TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method.
What is TOPSIS method?
The method first creates a virtual ideal candidates by taking the best scores from each candidate score card and then calculates distance from this ideal candidate. It then similarly creates a least ideal candidate and calculates similar distance. In the final step, the graded distance is used to calculate final scores.

What do these scores mean?
The candidates are ranked in the order of their final weighted optimized distance scores. The scores are calculates using weights from AHP algorithm and optimal distance using TOPSIS approach. A score of 100 means that the candidate is closest to the ideal candidate in the input universe. A score of 0 means the candidate is least ideal. The scores are relative.
What does DQ mean?
If a candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria defined in the "configure filter stage", the candidate is declared "Disqualified" and denoted as "DQ". The candidate may have received a score that is better than other candidates and thus may be placed higher in the table, but it should be eliminated based on "DQ" declaration.
Can I change any scores or eligibility criteria or comparision values?
Yes, please go ahead and play with the values are needed. We instantly will tell you the final scores based on our Filter-AHP-TOPSIS computation.
